They don’t come much smaller than this! It’s hard to believe, but this mini-magnet has the strength to pin a little note to the wall. Of course, there should not be a breeze coming through… Universities or research labs sometimes request such small magnets, for instance to secure tiny parts under the microscope.
Applications for neodymium cube magnets
Neodymium cube magnets are great magnets for pin boards or other magnetic surfaces, the fridge for instance. The ideal product is a neodymium cube magnet with a 5 mm edge length. Its adhesive force is sufficient for postcards, notes, photos, etc. At the same time, the neodymium magnet is small, unobtrusive and does not perforate paper. For thicker cardboard or posters or for use on a magnetic glass board, we recommend article W-10-N with an extra-high adhesive force.
Many customers also use magnetic cubes for experiments: Simple motors can be built with wire, battery and a strong magnet.
Neodymium magnets are also popular with sculpture buildiers: Thanks to the smooth surfaces, they are easy to arrange in a row or in a block. If you want to take it a step further, you can make use of the different surface coatings in nickel, copper or gold.
Thanks to its quad shape, neodymium cube magnets can be easily glued to other surfaces. You can create even larger objects with magnets and attach them to magnetic surfaces.
This list is not comprehensive of course. Make up your own mind about the versatility of cube magnets and check out some example applications that our satisfied customers shared.
