    NdFeB magnets are also known as Neo magnets, Neodymium magnets, Neodymium Iron Boron magnets, Neo Rare Earth magnets, NdFeB Rare Earth magnets, REFeB magnets, NIB magnets, Neodymium-Iron-Boron magnets, NdBFe magnets, Neodymium Rare Earth magnets and sometimes Super Strength magnets and Super Power magnets (the latter two names are vague and could be used for other larger magnetic materials so should not be used to name magnet types).
    There are 55 grades of standard alloy materials NdFeB magnets. The most common range of NdFeB (Nxx versions) will usually operate at up to +80 degrees C. The temperature ratings are guideline values. Higher temperature versions exist (which have higher Intrinsic Coercivities, Hci) that are rated from up to +100 degrees C to a maximum of up to +230 degrees C. All grades start with N (for NdFeB) followed by two numbers (shown as xx below which relates to the BHmax – higher number is more magnetic performance output ability – from 27 to 52) possibly followed by letters (Hci / temperature rating). The shape of the magnet, the total magnetic circuit and the application determines the actual maximum possible operating temperature.
