Samarium Cobalt Block Magnet Description
A samarium cobalt block magnet, a type of rare-earth magnet, is a strong permanent magnet made of an alloy of samarium and cobalt. They are generally ranked similarly in strength to neodymium magnets but have higher temperature ratings and higher coercivity. They are brittle and prone to cracking and chipping.

SmCo block magnets are widely used in sensors, speakers, reed switches, motor, rotor, wind turbines/generators, AC/DC motors, drive motors, servo motors, etc.
Samarium cobalt magnet is mainly made of Cobalt,Samarium and other rare earth elements.Its advantage is the maximum operating temperature up to 350 °C and its good corrosion and oxidation resistance. Samarium cobalt magnets, therefore do not need to be coated.It is widely used in motors,meters,sensors,detectors,engine,radar and other high-tech fields.
