Half Single Magnetic Hump MP-SWNHM & MP-SWFHM series – Half-Hump Magnet is used where Hump Magnets doesn’t fit due to height restriction. Ideal for ferrous tramp metal separation in gravity systems, Hump Magnet separators are adaptable to either round pipe or rectangular chute transfer lines.
The Hump magnet employs two heavy duty diverter-equipped Spout Magnets, which are positioned so that the offset flow of product flowing through the hump is forced into the magnetic fields. The hinged magnets are gasketed and clamped tightly to the hump housing for maximum product and dust containment during processing operations. They also swing open for easy removal of captured tramp metal.

Half-Hump Magnets Features:
1. Single hump systems are used where height is an issue and can only fit a single unit.
2. Using high strength Rare Earth or Ferrite magnet material ensures the contamination is pulled to the magnet’s surface, securing the contamination.
3. One or two catchment strips are fully welded to the magnet’s face, for small to fine contamination to hide behind, helping to eliminate the possible contamination wash off from the continuous product flow.
4. 304/316 stainless steel used.
5. Industrial & food/dairy grades available.
6. The plate magnets are hinged so cleaning is done outside the enclosed chute.

Applications：
Hump Magnets are used to remove large pieces of tramp iron as well as ferrous fragments from gravity-flow materials or material flow activated by wind in enclosed flow lines before they reach storage bins or processing equipment.
