KD413 5kg universal magnetic ball joint for 3D printer is a holding device that has flexible joints with a 8-35 mm diameter steel ball, which is held by rare earth magnets contained in the magnet cylinder. The magnetic ball joints allow the steel ball a full 360-degree rotation on a 180-degree axis. This way no damage occurs if the ball comes off the magnet cylinder, and the joints can work just as well as before when reset.
The steel ball is placed in the gap of the permanent magnet. Subject to his field, it is held by a magnetic force on his seat. An angular deflection of 180 is possible in all directions. When the holding force of the magnetic system is exceeded, the patella leaves its seat without any deterioration. Examples of applications: Since the magnetic ball joint is conductive, this makes it possible to produce a rapidly removable and also orientable electrical connection. This is an advantage in the case of, for example, low-voltage lighting with open electrical connection. It also makes it possible to make quick disassembly electrical connections for the control devices. In the rods of cylinders it is possible with the magnetic ball joints to realize the integration of the breaking point or the omnidirectional compensation of the lateral displacements.
