Large Flat Pot NeodymiumMagnet Features:
1.Strong magnetic force
2.Ni or Zn coated surface to avoid corrosion
3.Can be used in water environment
4.Durable quality
Material: Housing steel and Magnetic core sintered neodymium disc magnet.
Version: Housing, galvanized. Magnet, Ni coated or Zn coated
Note: Shallow flat pot magnets without threaded bush. These magnets are pressed or glued into the receiving holes.
Hairline cracks in the magnetic material are unavoidable for technical reasons in the D=70 version. They do not impair the attracting function of the magnets in any way.
Temperature range: max. 80°C.
Pot Magnets are often used as tools for various activities in workshops and in industry. They can be used for holding workpieces whilst welding, cutting, milling or drilling etc. Because of the lack of moving parts and the robust construction of MPCO pot magnets, the life is unlimited and no maintenance is required. Just keeping the pole surface clean gaurantees relaible operation and a long life.
MPCO has a huge variety of pot magnets within the two main groups within our range. Permanent pot magnets and Electro pot magnets and bars
Rare Earth Samarium & Neodymium, pots and assemblies can offer up to eleven times the performance of a Ferrite system in a comparable size. Applications tend to be specialized engineering projects where performance and available space are key factors. Maximum operating temperatures are +60°C for the Neodymium and +150°C – +250°C for the Samarium depending on the design configuration. neodymium flat magnet pot
Magnetic pot, also called cup magnets or disc magnets, consist of a magnet encased in metal, with its active magnet face exposed. Magnetic pots may have a hole, thread or screw in the center. The metal encasing on a magnetic pot allows the opposing fields of the magnet to transfer back to its active face. This increases the intensity of the magnet’s pull strength to three to four times that of a standard magnet of the same size.
