A diameter of 30 mm is actually an absurd size for sphere magnets – each sphere has an adhesive force of over 13 kg! Ask a woman to separate two of them by hand; not many will succeed. And then you hand the spheres to a grinning guy and watch how his facial expression will change from bewildered to tense… Such a large sphere magnet is not really useful, unless you can think of something? In that case we look forward to hearing from you. As with all large sphere magnets, the surface coating will not last forever, since the point-shaped contact areas are exposed to enormous force.

Neodymium sphere magnets work well on pinboards or whiteboards. Even spheres with a diameter of a few millimetres have already a high adhesive force. Not much bigger than a pushpin, but they can hold paper, photos and documents without leaving holes in them. Larger spheres are able to hold thick cardboard or large posters. They can be easily grasped and moved with one hand, which can be tricky with flat magnets.
You can build various sculptures with sphere magnets (maybe in combination with non-magnetic steel spheres): Cubes, rings, figurines, etc. If you add cube or rod magnets, you can even build atoms or molecules.
Sphere magnets make great jewellery (e.g. bracelet, finger ring) or flexible magnetic closures.

Real monster-spheres! I know adults who were not able to separate these magnets from each other. These should be handled with care and are definitely not suitable for children! (No joke!)
Keep in mind: These spheres are coated with chrome (over a nickel base), which makes them especially robust. Nevertheless, you should not let two of these spheres collide together – the pressure on the points of impact will be so high that the coating may be broken-down over time. Orders of multiple spheres will be delivered with a plastic spacer between them.
