I put thin vinyl sheeting over my windows to keep the warm in during the East Texas winter, and the warm out durring summer. Since gobs of air were leaking by the AC even with foam around it, rather than try further with foam, I decided to use Scotch tape to take the top of a vinyl sheet to the vinyl sheet that is permanently on the window and use this on the sides and the bottom of the AC sheet to hold it in place. The magnets in this tape have plenty of power to keep it in place! In the summertime, I’ll just pull off the sheeting to use the AC, and next winter only have to replace the Scotch tape. The only unknown at this point is how well the adhesive will hold.
