Bonded Ferrite is either injection or compression molded, and typically uses Nylon 6 or Nylon 12 when injection molded. Compression molded (which is very rare) is made by using epoxy mixed into the
ferrite. Typically most bonded ferrite uses strontium ferrite. It costs slightly more than sintered ferrite because ferrite must be powderized and mixed with the appropriate material for carrying of the ferrite.

Injection molded Ferrite is another molding process of magnet category. Compared to injection molded NdFeB, the difference of injection molded Ferrite lies in different magnetic powder utilized,
therefore injection molded ferrite has lower magnetic properties due to ferrite features, but it costs much less than that of NdFeB.

Injection bonded ferrite magnets offer a combination of high magnetic strength and excellent physical properties. They offer large scale manufacture of shaped parts of close dimensional and magnetic
tolerances, and therefore resulting in finished products of which usually need no further finishing machining. This deprives subsequent operations of the magnet and therefore reduces the total cost.
