The Permanent ferrite magnet is made of SrO or BaO and Fe2O3 by ceramic processing technology.The texture is relatively hard, brittle material.According to the different orientation of the crystal , it can be divided into isotropic magnets and anisotropic magnets. Due to the ferrite has good temperature resistance with low cost, which has become one of the most used magnets.

A ring magnet, or any magnet, will be polarized (have polarity, and thus have poles) if you magnetize it. Other wise it won’t. hard ferrite rubber coated pot magnets
An isotropic magnet can be easily magnetized in any direction, whatever shape it is. (Some ring magnets are made from isotropic material so they can be polarized radially.)
Anisotropic magnets (e.g., sintered rare earth magnets) have their microstructure aligned during manufacture to have an “easy” direction. Such a magnet will have a very strong polarization if magnetized along that direction; if magnetized orthogonally to that direction it will have a very weak polarization. But it will still be polarized.
