Neodymium Motor Magnet is available, it is mainly used in automatic control system and long range linear motion device, we are offering the length 100 – 700mm.

Neodymium magnet is widely used in magnetic motor and vehicle magnet applications, it is typically two to three times stronger than ferrite magnet, which results in greater performance from smaller, lighter motors.

Neodymium magnet is also used in electric car motor applications. From the motor that spins a DVD disc to the wheels of a hybrid car, neodymium magnet is used throughout the vehicle. Anyway, please the below points into consideration when Neodymium is used as a vehicle magnet:

Neodymium Motor Magnet Operating temperature: A low coercivity grade Neodymium magnet may begin to lose strength if heated above 176°F (80°C). High coercivity grade Neodymium Magnet (EH or AH) have been developed to function at temperatures up to 428°F (220°C) with little irreversible loss. The need for low temperature coefficient in neodymium magnet application has triggered several grades to be developed to meet specific operating requirements. Please refer to our chart of magnetic properties to compare the characteristics of each grade.

Corrosion: Neodymium magnet is vulnerable to corrosion, especially along grain boundaries of a sintered magnet. This type of corrosion can cause serious deterioration, including crumbling of a magnet into a powder of small magnetic particles. This vulnerability is addressed by adding a protective coating to prevent exposure to the atmosphere. Nickel plating or three-layered nickel-copper-nickel plating are the standard methods, although plating with other metals or polymer and lacquer protective coatings are also available.

· Neodymium magnets are the strongest magnets of all, and are ideal for reducing size and increasing the performance of devices.
· However, on its own, the material is weak to rust and so has been finished with a nickel plating. Thanks to the excellent rustproofing and durability properties of the plating technology, it should encounter no problems under normal usage conditions.
· Used widely in various cutting-edge fields such as in cell phones, HDDs, hybrid cars, etc.\ Dia 43mm TPE NdFeB Cable Holding Magnet System

Neodymium magnets are a composition of mostly Neodymium, Iron and Boron. If left exposed to the elements, the iron in the magnet will rust. To protect the magnet from corrosion and to strengthen the brittle magnet material, it is usually preferable for the magnet to be coated. There are a variety of options for coatings, but nickel is the most common and usually preferred. Our nickel plated magnets are actually triple plated with layers of nickel, copper, and nickel again. This triple coating makes our magnets much more durable than the more common single nickel plated magnets. Some other options for coating are zinc, tin, copper, epoxy, silver and gold. Our gold plated magnets are actually quadruple plated with nickel, copper, nickel and a top coating of gold. Dia 31mm NdFeB Black Rubber Magnetic System for Cable Mounting

Neodymium material is brittle and prone to chipping and cracking, so it does not machine well by conventional methods. Machining the magnets will generate heat, which if not carefully controlled, can demagnetize the magnet or even ignite the material which is toxic when burned. It is recommended that magnets not be machined.
