Plate Magnets
Plate magnets provide protection against tramp iron in a wide range of applications.
Designed primarily for use in ducts, chutes and other types of enclosed flow lines, plate magnets are equally effective in removing ferrous contaminants from free flowing and pneumatically conveyed material.
Plate magnets can also be installed above conveyor lines or under conveyor discharge.
For maximum effectiveness, plate magnets should be located at the point of minimum burden depth and material velocity.

These All-Stainless Steel clad plate magnets are available in a number of face designs including flat, pole or, for maximum holding force, tapered step (see below for details).
Ideal for 30 to 60 degree mounting angles.
Pole Face Plate Magnet
Pole face plate magnets feature two exposed pole plates to capture and hold contaminants. For low-density applications. This style is Utility grade only and is suitable for general purpose applications (not food).
Available in 3 model strengths using Ceramic magnets or 3 model strengths using powerful Rare Earth magnets depending on the magnetic reachout required.
Each model has fixed length and thickness dimensions but is custom made to suit your desired width dimension (e.g. to match your chute width).
Flat Face Plate Magnet
Flat face plate magnets are for low-density product applications and also inverted installations. Recommended for sanitary environments. Food grade by default.
Available in 3 model strengths using Ceramic magnets or 3 model strengths using powerful Rare Earth magnets depending on the magnetic reachout required.
Each model has fixed length and thickness dimensions but is custom made to suit your desired width dimension (e.g. to match your chute width).
Tapered Step Plate Magnet
Tapered Step plate magnets are for high-density product applications. Specifically designed to hold ferrous contaminants against its solid tapered step to prevent wash-off of tramp iron and fines even when the flow is rapid. Food grade by default.
Available in 3 model strengths using Ceramic magnets or 3 model strengths using powerful Rare Earth magnets depending on the magnetic reachout required.
