PrNd DyFe Price Trend 36 Weeks 2019, Neodymium Magnet Raw Material

This week, price of PrNd continued to rise while DyFe and Tb kept stable. Price from Asian Metal at this weekend presented: PrNd metal 408-413RMB/KG, DyFe alloy 1900-1920RMB/KG and Tb metal 5100-5150RMB/KG.
2. Analysis of Professional Insiders
Prices of PrNd oxide, Nd oxide, Dy oxide, Tb oxide and Ga oxide have all risen this week. Affected by the shutdown of some upstream smelters and separators, it is expected that the supply of Nd oxide will be tightened in the future. Metals and downstream magnetic materials enterprises gradually accept the price of Nd oxide which is warmer than the earlier period.
Large upstream manufacturers have strong willingness to bid, and they have a positive view on the price trend of Nd oxide in the future. Although Dy oxide and Tb oxide prices got a bit weak affected by low unit price from Pan-Asian and weak market demand in the early stage, in the short term those materials did not flow into the market in a large amount, with the warming of demand and the tight supply of ore raw materials did not improve this week, price of Dy oxide and Tb oxide got higher than that of earlier period, and the price of Ga oxide is also higher.
At present, although the demand of rare earth market has not fully recovered, the market confidence is sufficient, businessmen generally hold a bullish attitude towards the future market, and upstream businessmen have a strong willingness to bid. It is predicted that the supply of PrNd oxide and Nd oxide will be affected, and there will still be upward drive in the later period.
